Hello, my name is Lorato Plaatjie, I am the Practice Leader for the two Houses in Werrington.
I joined Thrive365 in May 2019, I first started as a Support worker, assisting participants with their personal care, goals and building their skills.
Shortly, it was clear to me that I genuinely love my work, so I decided to go further and acquire a Certificate IV in Disability. Coincidently I’m currently studying towards a Bachelors in applied Social Sciences (Community Services)which I will complete end of 2022.
My passion is to see a change in someone life; Disability is not inability, working with them closely to build skills to be independent.
